Brian Lewis

Brian has played a leading role in the realisation of a great number of projects in Trinidad & Tobago for over 40 years. He has contributed his extensive experience in design and project management to a number of large, landmark and award winning commercial projects such as the Republic Bank Operations Centre. He played an important part in the Gulf City Complex in San Fernando, the Hall of Justice and the Financial Complex in Port of Spain.

 

During his career, Brian has served on many national boards including the Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago and the Interim National Planning Commission. He also served as president of the Trinidad and Tobago Institute of Architects and the Joint Consultative Council for the Construction Industry, and on a Committee for Professional Practice and Ethics of the International Union of Architects. Brian is a keen architectural photographer and has published numerous articles and books during his career.

 

A Victor Laudorum athlete in his youth, Brian was the founder of the Trinidad and Tobago Gymnastics Association. He is also a graduate of the University of Navarra Family Studies programme, and has led and participated in a number of family courses and marriage preparation programmes. Brian is married to Catherine and has 3 children and 6 grandchildren.
