Laura joined acla:works in 2014 as a graduate architect shortly after her graduation from the University of Miami, Coral Gables, USA. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from their five-year accredited professional programme, with a double minor in Urban Studies and Art. Laura is focused on illuminating Trinidad’s history and culture through architecture and design, and is a core member of the Citizens for Conservation Trinidad and Tobago (CFC). She is involved in a diverse range of local design practices including, but not limited to, costume and fashion design. In her spare time, Laura enjoys baking (and eating) chocolate chip banana bread.
